Hybrid Engagement Event
Engage Fairfax: FY 2027 Community Budget Exchange
Learn about the proposed fiscal year 2027 budget during a community engagement event from 6-8 p.m. on April 16. You may participate in person at City Hall, via Teams, or watch the meeting on Channel 12 (Cox/Verizon) or fairfaxva.gov. The event will be recorded and available to view afterward.
This event will provide a focused opportunity for residents to share their priorities as the city council moves toward adopting a final budget on May 5.
City Manager Dan Alexander, Chief Financial Officer JC Martinez, and Budget Director Gwen Riddle will present an overview of the budget and answer questions. A series of guided discussions supported by live polling will allow participants to engage in real time.
