Fall Festival
Join the project team at the city's annual Fall Festival(External link) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 11, 2025, in historic Old Town Fairfax. City staff will be available to answer questions, share informational materials, and collect feedback on the Solid Waste Management Plan Update.
Environmental Sustainability Committee

The meeting will take place on October 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Work Session Room (10455 Armstrong St).
Trick-or-Treat Trail 2025
The City of Fairfax Environmental Sustainability Specialist will be at the Trick-or-Treat Trail to hand out candy (of course) and get feedback on our solid waste services. Stop by to see the 'recycling wizard' and participate in city's Solid Waste Management Plan update!

This public meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to engage in discussions about the city's waste management practices and contribute to shaping the future of solid waste management in Fairfax.
