The CUE (City-University Energysaver) bus system was launched August 18, 1980, as a joint venture between the City of Fairfax and George Mason University to reduce parking demand and congestion and provide more travel options for the community. Since that time the city and public transit across the country has changed dramatically, but CUE’s branding has remained the same.

The goal of this project is to evaluate the existing CUE brand and identify improvements to attract new riders, solidify CUE’s identity, and standardize public information while maintaining current customers and partnerships. In order to stay current and increase the positive perception of the bus system, this project will update the brand to ensure that CUE’s image is modern, engaging, and consistent. Feedback from existing riders and other community members will be a key part of the process.
